At ECI, our ecosystem is only as strong as the connections within it. Today, we are incredibly proud to announce that Josh McHugh-Cullen, our strategic alliances manager, has been named to the prestigious ENX Difference Makers list.
Josh’s journey at ECI is a testament to the power of industry expertise and a "customer-first" mindset. Based in Australia, Josh originally joined the team to spearhead our growth in the ANZ market. However, it didn’t take long for us to realize that his talent for building bridges and fostering collaboration was something our global organization and our customer base needed.
As office equipment dealers face a rapidly changing landscape, the need for seamless connectivity between their ERP and the other software tools has never been greater. For e-automate to remain the industry’s favorite ERP, it must be an enabler of innovation, and Josh is a driving force ensuring our ecosystem remains open, connected, and ready for what’s next.
Since taking the helm of our global alliances, Josh has steadily deepened our alliance network. This expansion provides our customers more freedom to diversify their businesses and adopt modern workflows without worrying about whether their systems will "talk" to each other.
By leveraging Josh's industry foresight and profound understanding of dealer pain points, our alliance network has become more diverse and better aligned with the needs of the modern dealer.
One of the most critical areas Josh oversees is our API governance. For a long time, many dealers who self-host their systems have believed that migrating to the cloud results in a loss of data access; however, Josh’s work in this area has virtually eliminated that narrative.
Our API strategy is deliberate, not restrictive. We are cautious about database connectivity because we prioritize the security and data integrity of every customer we serve. However, Josh is proving that a governed API is actually a superior enabler of modern workflows. By providing secure, stable access, we allow dealers to innovate without compromising the "source of truth" that runs their business. In the past few months alone, Josh has overseen the expansion of our alliance network with partners like FormedAI, In Time Tec, Capsul, FUJIFILM, and Katun, with a dozen more integrations currently in development.
Being named an ENX Difference Maker is a recognition of those who move the needle in the office technology industry. Josh does exactly that every day. By advocating for better connectivity and fostering a culture of partnership, he is helping ECI deliver a modern, "auto-pilot" experience for the MPS business, allowing dealers to focus on their next big growth opportunity.
Please join us in congratulating Josh McHugh-Cullen on this well-deserved honor. We are pleased to have his expertise at the helm of our global alliances, helping to shape the future of the e-automate ecosystem and our industry.
