Implementation Done Right

Whether you prefer to learn online, offline, on-site, on-demand or at our biennial Connect Conference, we're there for you.

Let’s face it, making the commitment to a new business management solution is difficult enough. It’s our job to make sure that you get through the implementation process with little disruption and as few sleepless nights as possible.

ECI takes pride in creating an implementation process that is developed specifically around your needs. Our goal is to help you get the maximum benefit from your technology investment now and as your business grows. A dedicated account manager will be assigned to ensure a smooth transition to your new system. The implementation process includes establishing a timeline with defined touch points and milestones, data migration, system setup, system review/testing, user training and Go-Live planning and support. Depending on your needs, the process may include weekly calls, virtual training, and/or on-site consultation. After go-live, you will work with your account manager for a time and receive dedicated attention to help you and your staff gain confidence with your system.

Classroom Training - With classes offered all over the United States and Canada, regional classroom trainings offer a variety of classes specifically designed around a user’s role and skillset. It is not one size fits all. The 2-Day Job Control Workshop is a great boot camp for new users, while our more focused 1-Day classes are great for specialized roles and intermediate to advanced users.

Virtual Training - Live, online instructor led classes offer role specific hands-on training for customers. Each session encourages attendees to ask questions, interact with other JobBOSS customers, and participate in instructor overseen labs. Users leave these sessions having learned, demonstrated, and able to apply their knowledge directly to the software.

On-Demand Video Tutorials - We have training when you need it. With hundreds of short online video tutorials available through our customer portal 24/7, you can learn at your own pace. Whether you have a specific question or are looking to obtain general knowledge, you can find answers here.

Training Database - This database comes with all JobBOSS installations, it comes with artificial customers, vendors, materials and jobs so users can practice without tampering with company information.

Online Training Courses

Our online training classes are led by instructors and designed for an optimum learning experience through interactive classrooms. Each session covers a specific M1® software module and best practices.

Attendees will learn in a hands-on environment using actual data sets with predefined scenarios. Class attendees will complete a learning assessment to ensure competence on the subject matter covered.

Waiting list: Virtual training classes are limited to 12 participants per session for a robust interactive learning environment. For high-demand training sessions, overflow registrants are placed on a waiting list while we schedule additional sessions for a future date.

Training Webinars

Join a webinar to get started with M1® ERP software, introduce a new employee to M1, or extend your own knowledge. These webinar sessions are recorded live and include Q&A sessions with the attendees. You can use the webinars as referral information and for self-directed learning.

As a customer, you can sign up for live webinar sessions through the M1 Customer Support Center. And, if you're unable to attend, we make the recordings available so you can watch later. Customers can access recorded webinars on demand. Topics include set-up essentials, general ledger and financial reporting, scheduling, and more

MarkSystems University

MarkSystems users receive the most comprehensive software training in the home building industry.

  • MarkSystems University (MSU™) provides new user training and ongoing support in both the foundational modules and new system integrations. Attendees receive core curriculum training on the features of MarkSystems software, followed by a focus in specific departmental areas. At the end of the initial three-day MSU training program, attendees are fluent in the software’s basic functionality and capabilities, and how they pertain to their specific job functions. Each attendee receives a certificate of completion for their specific course.
