Matt Collins has held senior leadership roles with large regional homebuilders for over 25 years, focusing on agility, systems, and operational improvement. He began his career in construction as a sales associate and manager at a top-five national building material supplier. Matt later served as VP of Operations, VP of Homebuilding, and COO for builders in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Missouri. He also worked as a senior consultant with Shinn Consulting, helping builders nationwide improve operations, trade relations, quality, cycle time, customer satisfaction, and profitability. His work included benchmark meetings, executive consulting, educational seminars, and national speaking engagements. Now, as managing member of The Mainspring Group, Matt and his team help innovative private builders take the right next steps toward operational excellence.
