Jack Wood
Chief Technology Officer
Jack Wood is the CTO at ECI, where he is focused on setting the technical vision and architecture standards that enable the company to build scalable, secure, and modern systems. He is also passionate about delivering a scalable and practical AI strategy that directly impacts tens of thousands of businesses across multiple industries and countries.
Jack brings over 25 years of experience leading engineering organizations and building mission-critical platforms in highly regulated, complex environments. Before ECI, he served as SVP of Engineering at Symetra, where he led a team to modernize platforms, implement secure-by-design practices, and advance AI and automation in key workflows. At Capital One, he delivered secure, cloud-native platforms for the Commercial Trade Credit business, and at Wayfair, he scaled engineering teams and systems during hypergrowth.
Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Rivier University and multiple cloud certifications. Based in Portland, Maine, he enjoys traveling, boating, skiing, and hiking with his wife and two children.
