Timing, Training, and Testing

Red Falcon® takes pride in an implementation process that is developed specifically around each customer. Our goal is to help you get the maximum benefit from your technology investment. We work closely with you throughout implementation to ensure your confidence in the system. During this period, your dedicated account manager makes daily follow-up calls to check on your progress, answer questions, and resolve any issues.

Implementation process

Guidelines for the successful deployment of Red Falcon software

STAGE I: WELCOME AND PROCESS REVIEW

  • Welcome call to review purchase
  • Review timeline and key milestones
  • Assign and meet training specialist
  • Discuss project and training plan
  • Review and answer questions about required documentation

STAGE II: DATA IMPORT AND EVALUATION (Optional)

  • If converting from another ECi platform, work with trainer to convert data
  • Alternately, data can be imported from other systems via CSV spreadsheet (paid service)
  • Extract data from legacy system when possible, work in spreadsheets when not possible
  • Review and cleanup of data prior to import into Red Falcon

STAGE III: TRAINING AND TEST ORDERS

  • View training webinars and work with trainer for questions
  • One-on-one scheduled phone time with your training specialist as needed
  • Training designed as an 8-week program
  • Can be conducted faster or slower if desired
  • Utilize Basecamp project management tool to keep track of tasks
  • Begin running test orders through Red Falcon software midway through the training process
  • Train your team internally on order process prior to going live

STAGE IV: GO LIVE

  • Once you are comfortable with processes, work with your trainer to determine go-live date
  • Readiness Review to determine how ready you are to go live
  • Final review of training checklist with training specialist
  • Transition to Support status via warm transfer call with Dealer Advisor

Data conversion

Whether you're transitioning from one system or multiple systems, Red Falcon understands the importance of a seamless and accurate data conversion process. If converting from another ECi system such as Britannia or DDMS, you will work with your trainer to make the data conversion process as seamless as possible. Alternately, if coming from an outside platform, we offer a paid service the ability to import the following data from a CSV spreadsheet format:

  • Customers and Bill-to Addresses
  • Ship-to Addresses
  • Web User Logins
  • Custom Items
  • Favorites Lists
