ECI Names Jim Holden as New LBMH Vice President of Sales

Holden brings 25+ years in software sales and leadership specific to the lumber, building, materials and hardlines industry

Fort Worth, Tex. —Tuesday, May 21, 2019 ECI Software Solutions, a leader in cloud-based business management solutions, today announced the appointment of Jim Holden to vice president of sales – LBM and Hardlines division. In his new role, Holden will be tasked with supporting ECI’s growth by expanding product and service offerings to small-to-medium-sized independent hardware stores, building materials dealers and lumberyards.

A renowned sales leader, Holden brings more than 25 years of software sales and leadership experience to ECI – most of which was focused specifically on retail and LBM dealers. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales at Neopost, a software and services firm focused on shipping and logistics. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at Epicor Software, holding several executive sales roles, including vice president of sales specific to the retail and lumber building materials industry. While at Epicor, Holden was responsible for leading customer sales, lead development, new sales and national accounts.

“Jim is a phenomenal resource to add to our growing LBMH division,” said John Maiuri, president of ECI’s LBM and Hardlines Division. “Beyond his vast and impressive career as a software sales leader, Jim grew up working in his family-owned, small community retail business, giving him unique perspective on our customer base. That, combined with his expertise in ecommerce and in the impact companies like Amazon are having on our customers, makes him the ideal candidate for this role.”

“ECI has built an incredible roster of software offerings specific to the LBM and Hardlines vertical, and I’m thrilled to be joining such a passionate and customer-focused team of experts,” said Holden. “Leveraging advanced technology is an essential component of productivity, profitability and customer loyalty for small-to-medium-sized businesses. I’m looking forward to helping ECI’s existing customer base and any LBM dealer and hardlines retailer capitalize on that opportunity in the years to come.”

Holden graduated from California State University-Sacramento with a degree in business administration and management. He is based in San Francisco, CA.
