In the twenty years since its first release, the capabilities of the software have grown immensely, with hundreds of enhancements to make the software more efficient — and make our dealers more profitable.
Version 15 continues our pursuit of perfection. ECi's development team – the largest in the industry – has worked with our Dealer Advisory Committee to deliver key enhancements that make an immediate impact on an office furniture dealer's efficiency.
Electronic Communications with More Manufacturers
- Electronically submit purchase orders in the OFDA XML format directly to Kiosk Order Manager for the following manufacturers:
- Herman Miller
- Herman Miller Canada
- Geiger
- Geiger USA
- SitOnIt Seating
- Baker Manufacturing
- Receive functional acknowledgements from these manufacturers that identify any pertinent information missing from the order.
- Receive electronic purchase order acknowledgements from these manufacturers that automatically update TeamDesign.
Refined Reporting Capabilities
- Ability to print to Excel and to screen many of the TeamDesign reports, selecting additional fields from 'SmartMaster' and 'SmartDetail', and displaying this information in columns. In addition, when printing to Excel many of the reports let dealers easily sort, filter, and so forth, without merging cells.
- Enhanced Payables Paid on Open Purchase Order Report: allows dealers to monitor their cash flow, letting them know the dates on which bills were paid for orders that haven't been received. For many dealers, this could mean that the order has not been invoiced to the end customer. You can also easily see that purchase order's value.
Improved Functionality
- Enhanced electronic file attachment option for proposals: lets you attach a folder with multiple files to a proposal
- Dealers can now easily invoice a percentage of completion: there's a new "purchase order items to invoice by percent" option.
- Direct access to NET1 credit card services directly from within TeamDesign's main menu.
