ECi Releases Version 9.2 of M1® Software with Improved Functionality and Customer Benefits

Enhanced features enable manufacturers to achieve greater efficiency and productivity

Fort Worth, TX ECi Software Solutions (www.ECiSolutions.com), a leader in industry-specific information technology solutions, announced the general availability of version 9.2 of its M1® software. M1 is an ERP software solution built specifically for small- and medium-sized manufacturing businesses. 

M1 version 9.2 includes enhanced features with cost of goods sold (COGS) for precise job costing and first in first out/last in first out (FIFO/LIFO) inventory control. This functionality will give manufacturers visibility into their business, enabling them to track job costs in real time.

The latest version of M1 features enhanced functionality for scheduling, which enables better constraint, labor, and equipment management. This benefits manufacturers by letting them focus on productivity gains.

Built with common user interfaces, M1 improved its ease of use and intuitiveness. This release includes new features such as the M1 HR module that lets manufacturers define and track employee skills for optimized labor allocation. Additional improvements support asset management with tool tracking and storage locations on the shop floor, which means faster retooling, less downtime, reduced expenses, and improved accountability.
