TEAM-TALK 2008

TEAM-TALK! 2008 Users conference hosted over 200 contract office furniture dealers. The users conference was held March 24-28, 2008, in Nashville, TN at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. The event provided training, seminars and presentations for users of the company’s TeamDesign® business system software.

In addition to valuable software training designed to help attending dealers streamline operations and add additional cost-cutting efficiencies to their businesses, the conference offered presentations from industry consultant David Solomon and companies such as 20-20 Technologies, Acteon Technologies, Global, Haworth, Herman Miller, iAnyWhere Solutions, Kimball Office, Net1 Payment Solutions and ProjectMatrix. Attendees also received a preview of the next release of the TeamDesign software, which will offer even more features to help dealers grow their businesses.

“Response from the dealers was overwhelmingly enthusiastic,” said TeamDesign President Tammy Byrum. “The conference is a tremendous training resource for all of our dealers.”

Byrum’s statement was validated by many of the attending dealers, including Colette St. Louis, controller for Solution Planning and Contract, Inc., who said, “Great TEAM-TALK! Thoroughly enjoyed our Nashville visit…learned a lot and look forward to future developments. It was great to put faces to names and voices I've talked to over the past few years.”

“This was my first experience at TEAM-TALK! and I must say it was more beneficial than I had thought it would be,” added Nick Orlando, senior accounting manager for Workscapes, Inc. “I picked up several nuggets of information that will help our organization run more efficiently. Additionally, the contacts and networking experience was phenomenal.”

Gary Lorenz, chief financial officer for Worksquared, Inc. summed up the feelings of most attendees when he stated, “Great Conference!”
