ECi Releases ECinteractive 11.0

ECi will load the maintenance release Version 11.0 live on ECinteractive® and is.D-Force® 2 Web servers this weekend.

This software update is scheduled between 9 PM CST Saturday, August 20, and 6 AM CST Sunday, August 21.

Since this falls within ECi's Standard Weekly Data Center Maintenance timeframe, no changes are required to Site Maintenance schedules.


What's New In This Release?

This release includes the following enhancements:

New Administrative Favorites Items Management Tool

This new enhancement helps you better manage your user favorites lists as well as administrative favorites lists. Using the Favorites Items Management page, you can easily change one item to another on all lists. You can also delete items on all favorites lists. This page lets you manually enter items or you can import them using a file. Two new Site Preference options let you notify customers when an item on a favorites list has been changed or deleted. eProcurement for OCI and xCBL Compliant Systems Now in Beta Testing

We've enhanced the eProcurement feature to accept xCBL purchase orders as well as shopping via Open Catalog Interface (OCI). (OCI does not include Punchout abilities.) This feature will soon begin Beta testing with selected dealers. Watch your inbox for future announcements. We'll notify you when this feature becomes available for general release!

 

 

Other Changes In This Release

  • 11176: Enhanced so when the customer is set to not display customer pricing, the Price and Ext (Price) columns, including the Subtotal, Tax Amounts, and Total are not sent on order acknowledgment emails.
  • 12621: Enhanced by increasing the number of characters that can be entered in the Google Analytics ID box on the Administrative Site Preferences page. Previously the box allowed up to 10 characters. This has been increased to 25.
  • 13530: Enhanced by adding the ability to hide Site News when using the eProcurement feature. To enable this feature, the Home Page Elements option has been added to the Administrative eProcurement Partner page.
  • 11148: Corrected so when an invalid item is added to the cart, the invalid items are highlighted and an error message is displayed at the top of the shopper's Checkout page.
  • 12792: Corrected so the customer receives an On Hold email when the customer places an order that is over the allowed credit limit. Previously when an order was placed on hold due to it being over the credit limit, the customer received an Order Submitted email.
  • 13284: Corrected when lower case characters are entered in the Department box on the shopper's site, the system displays a list of departments based on the first characters specified. Previously when lower case characters were entered, the department suggestion list did not display.
  • 13403: Corrected so when clicking the down arrow in the Customer Admin training toolbar menu, the user can select to open the Parameter Maintenance page.
  • 13460: Corrected display issues when using the is.D-Force2 Competitive Pricing feature. Previously the price displayed in the Our Price To You popup box was showing the item's list price from the back office system instead of the shopper's competitive price. However, the item's competitive price was added to the cart.
