If your DDMS server is running Windows 2003 64-bit, do not install DDMS 10.0. |
 |
If you use a Terminal Server that is running Windows 2000, it will limit client workstations connecting to your DDMS server to older, non-EBS functions.
Please note that the older operating system does not meet the minimum requirements to support the .NET Framework 4.0 required to utilize EBS applications such as Customer Price Plans, Preview Reports, Furniture Project Management, and Graphical Machine Billing. In DDMS 10.0, we have made changes so your client workstations can still run DDMS 10.0 and connect. This project was developed and tested to provide smaller dealers — who do not yet take advantage of our more advanced feature set — with more time to plan to upgrade their terminal servers. (57571)
Users may continue to connect to a server running DDMS Version 10 via terminal servers running Windows 2000, but such terminal servers will only support the use of older, non-EBS graphical and text-based applications that DDMS has not yet upgraded to the SQL/.NET Framework Version 4.0. These include the standard DDMS order flow and purchasing flow applications, accounts receivable and payable applications, general ledger, Notes Everywhere, Campaign Manager, and all text-based applications, utilities and reporting. (However, once a DDMS application is converted to the SQL/.NET Framework 4.0 or higher, they will no longer support a Windows 2000 terminal server.)
During the installation process, the system displays a message, notifying you of this issue.
ACTION REQUIRED: If you are using a Microsoft Window 2000 terminal server for client connections, before installing version 10.0, contact ECi DDMS Support for assistance. |
For All Dealers
1. Security. Performance. Extensibility. Usability. Scalability.
All EBS logic and applications — particularly Customer Price Plans, Bank Reconciliation, Furniture Project Management, Graphical Machine Billing and DDMS Install wizard — now take advantage of SQL/.NET architecture upgrades in Windows Server 2003 and 2008.
In particular, we've implemented Microsoft .NET Framework 4. Its updated libraries of pre-built code simplify common tasks such as building applications faster and integrating technologies with less work, with the goal of streamlining time to release new feature sets. (57398, 57544, 57575, 57532, 57542, 57605)
ACTION REQUIRED:
Make sure your client PC meets minimum requirements, and run a full DDMS 10.0 Client Install on Every Client Workstation.
What if I don't run Client Install? Once your DDMS Server is running Version 10.0, client workstations without the new .NET Framework 4 cannot run EBS applications, and will instead generate a .NET error.
To recover from this error, you can simply 1) make sure your client PC meets minimum requirements, and 2) download and run the DDMS Version 10.0 or higher Client Install on the client workstation.
The process of running the DDMS 10.0 Client Install will also load the .NET Framework 4, and may take about 15 minutes per workstation, depending on its Internet connection, network bandwidth, and client hardware.
For details and requirements, see Alert: DDMS 10 Requires Clients to Run Microsoft .NET Framework 4
Here are a few of the benefits:
Security. The newer operating systems have updated security architectures that make them less vulnerable to threats.
Performance. The newer architecture improves responsiveness of network applications with data-intensive exchanges.
Extensibility. The newer SQL/.NET architecture integrates more closely and reliably with system and network resources.
Usability. Newer application programming models and methods foster best practices in user-friendly development.
Scalability. Increased scaling capabilities help support more intensive workloads than ever before.
2. New Interface for Text-Based Apps! (DDMS Client Install Required)
Windows 2008 requires an upgrade to terminal emulation software for client workstation access to DDMS text-based parameters, reports, and applications. In DDMS 8.26, our developers upgraded the terminal emulation software to XNET, but required a separate installation step. In DDMS 10.0, our server and client installation wizards automatically load XNET software with no extra action required on your part. (57572)

Rest assured, XNET software is also compatible with DDMS servers running Windows 2003.
ACTION REQUIRED: Use DDMS Client Install to make sure user workstations have all they need!
The process of running the DDMS 10 Client Install will also load the XNET client software, and may take about 15 minutes per workstation, depending on its Internet connection, network bandwidth, and client hardware.
3. 150 Percent More Data Space for EBS/SQL Business Reporting!
The old version of SQL Express limited you to 4 GB of SQL data. Now the DDMS installation wizard lets you upgrade to the 2008 R2 SQL Express.
This gives you a new max of 10 GB for your growing SQL data!
To take better advantage of the new SQL data space, explore your server upgrade options.
4. Four New SQL Reports Now Available For All Dealers!
DDMS has four new reports available for you to add to SQL Preview Reports (57235):
For detailed instructions on setting up a report and grant access to your employees, see page 13 of Setting Up & Using SQL Preview Reports (pdf).
The Customer Usage By Date Report groups information by salesperson, customer account number, and item department. it lets you limit using a wide range of customer and item limits. It displays item, manufacturer, description, unit, orders, quantity, sales, and percentage of sales information. It can be added to SQL Preview Reports from ECi's XML folder for Sales.

Customer Group Sales Totals can be limited by group, categories and additional limits. it displays customer, sales, cost and gross profit percentage totals only. It can be added to SQL Preview Reports from ECi's XML folder for Sales.

Customer Totals Report can be limited by group, categories, and accounts receivable 30, 60, and 90 day balances. It can be added to SQL Preview Reports from ECi's XML folder for Customer.

If you bill third parties, such as leasing companies, inter-market partners, or Government Services Administration (GSA), look up Third Party Invoice Register per customer, salesperson, or invoice date. The report groups by third party billing customer account and by order number, and displays third party billing account name, invoice number, date, customer name, order total, tax, invoice total, and salesperson. (Bonus: This report comes already installed in SQL Report Preview among your standard Sales reports in DDMS Version 10.)

5. Use Order History and Analysis With Greater Intelligence!
EBS SQL Order History and Analysis combines a familiar Order History with simple drill-downs, quick lookups, smart limits, templates, & access control. You can customize the grid columns, print the grid results, create templates. Easily analyze orders, line items, and related groups with subtotals! (57511)
You'll find two Order Lookup Tasks: Quick Order Lookup (by Order #, Customer #, or P/O #), and Find Orders, which allows you to set multiple limits for reporting, create a template, and print in multiple ways.
You'll also have four Analysis Tasks that allow you to select data groupings with subtotals: Analyze Orders, Analyze Order Groups, Analyze Line Items, and Analyze Item Groups.
You'll also have three Template Tasks (Execute Template, Setup Template, and Setup User Groups) to streamline reporting by task type, various limits, grid columns, data groups, along with assigning user groups who have access to the templates you set up.
For detailed instructions, see your online help in DDMS 10.0.

7. Is Your Terminal Server Load Balanced? Now Save User Settings!
In case your client workstations connect via a load balanced terminal server, DDMS keeps custom grid or toolbar and other user preferences in a logical place. Save these employees time and hassle of setting their preferences! (57574, 57646, 57754)
Previously after making window grid changes or toolbar settings and logging out and logging back in, the user's settings were not being saved. The system now properly checks to see if the ensitep.ini file exists in the user's specific location. The system checks the user's config files to determine whether they exist locally or on a remote server. If the .ini exists, the system uses the settings. If not, it then checks to see how the previous .ini in the program file path was set, and copies it to the user-specific path to use.
8. Order Route Field Streamlines Delivery Service Workflows
If you run a coffee, water, or other scheduled delivery service, you can now add the new Route column to the graphical Order Entry Order Browse dialog box. (57421)
Filtering by the Order Route printed on tickets and invoices helps you find and update, change, verify, or delete the order as needed!
This column is available when you browse orders in Change, Verify, and Delete modes. For detailed instructions, see your online help in DDMS 10.0.
For Supplies Dealers
1. Web Shoppers on ECinteractive Can Soon Sort By Price!
With DDMS 10.0 and the upcoming ECinteractive 11.1, your shoppers will be able to sort ECinteractive search results by price. (57636, 57815)
To allow your ECinteractive® or is.D-Force® 2 Web storefront Search Results page to sort by price, it required significant enhancements to the way your back-end DDMS server communicates with various Web services.
Previously, this information was transferred via eGate packets. Now, we've implemented a new SQL pipeline.
Behind the scenes on DDMS, the SQL data pipeline must cross-reference item pricing for the shopper's Customer account with other details including alternates, substitutes, aliases, and various parameters. It's especially important to resolve item results when your DDMS Item database incorporates item alternate codes you've set up in the (LE) Inventory Parameters screen, such as Normal Alternates, Discontinued Item, Reference item, Preferred Alternate, Like Item Alternate, Out of Stock Item, Generic Alternate, and Customer Specific Substitute. (Note: the fewer alternates and substitutes used in your database, the faster your site will be able to display search results.)
Meanwhile, ECinteractive developers are working closely with wholesalers to implement their requirements for the Web search engines to be able to sort the catalog data by price based on the DDMS server's pipeline results. The intention is to allow a shopper to select from the following list:
Sort by Relevance — how the search results are sorted today, according to key words and selected attributes.
Sort by Price Low to High — ascending order, with the lowest priced items at the beginning of the list.
Sort by Price High to Low — descending order, with the highest priced items at the beginning of the list.
The wholesalers' enhanced content attribute panel will further allow shoppers to limit the list to the following pricing levels, dynamically available depending if the list includes products on that level:
Under $25
$25 to $50
$50 to $100
$100 to $200
$200 and Above
User-specified price range.
Sort by Price will first be released for S. P. Richards Enhanced Content in ECinteractive version 11.1, due to release in a few weeks.
2. Trodat's uTypia: Stamps Made to Order by Customizer of Your Choice
Despite the high profit margins of custom self-inking rubber stamps, self-inking stamps, and engraving, many office dealers have left that market untapped. The majority of e-commerce solutions don’t allow shoppers to customize products online.
But that has changed with the release of ECi DDMS 10, ECinteractive 10, and the uTypia microsite from Trodat (www.trodat.net), the world’s number one supplier of stamp components. (57717, 57785, 57799)
In ECinteractive and is.D-Force 2, the Shopping menu will launch Trodat’s custom product microsite uTypia, shown below.
Your shoppers can choose from a variety of custom products including: the eco-friendly, non-toxic, Trodat Printy self-inking stamps, the long lasting Ultimark pre-ink stamps, ink replacement products, signs, name badges and more! Shoppers can easily personalize their text, upload logos, set borders, and preview the layout.
The uTypia microsite has several colors and styles to choose from to better match the corporate identity of each dealer.
The intuitive interface prevents errors and returns.
Once the order is complete, the Trodat microsite places the order in your shopping cart for checkout, and the order flows to your back-end system.
Your normal short-buy process places custom stamp items, each with a special Trodat reference code, on a purchase order for transmission via the ECi Private Supply Network. Receiving the acknowledgement will automatically update your purchase order with order status and shipping information
Orders can be drop shipped directly to your customers.
Orders are fulfilled by the custom stamp maker of your choice, allowing you to continue using a LOCAL fulfiller! Simply call JENNifer Niziolek at 1-800-876-3281 ext. 8522 or email her at jennifer.niziolek@trodat.net to get started.
For detailed instructions on launching the Trodat microsite for your ECinteractive or is.D-Force 2 shoppers, see Setting Up & Using the Trodat PSN (pdf). In this document, you'll learn how to set up appropriate accounts and parameters to transmit purchase orders to your chosen fulfiller (requires DDMS 10.0 and higher). You'll also learn how to use ECi Content Integration software to load Trodat item files into your DDMS inventory database. You'll also learn how to use the ECinteractive or is.D-Force 2 Admin Control panel to activate the microsite for your Web storefront customers.

3. Auto Short Buy's Order Code Extended to Text-Based Apps!
Just as graphical Order Entry was enhanced in DDMS 8.24, we've updated the (G) Order Entry, Web and EDI order logic to automatically set the default Order Code for Auto Short Buy. Now it's easier to transmit an order for same-day delivery, or grant custom pricing to individual customer accounts.(57446)
This feature lets you set a default order code which can be used to filter backordered items to specific purchasing processes, including the automated short-buy process. Previously this code could only be used with graphical software. In this latest software enhancement, this code can be used with text-based systems, EDI orders, and Web orders via Dealer Station and ECinteractive.
To get started, set a default in the Order Code box in the Customer Order Entry 2 tab.

When you place an order, the system automatically uses the default for your orders.
After the order is completed, to change the code, you must do so using the graphical Order Entry Change or Verify windows. The ability to change the Order Code box in graphical O/E can also be restricted using the Allow Order Code box in the Salesperson Price Check tab. The salesperson for the order must have the Allow Order Code box set to Y before the code can be changed.
When a quote is released to an order, the order code is assigned to the customer to whom the quote is being released. (It does not use the order code assigned to the quote.)
For detailed instructions, see your online help in DDMS 10.0.
Other Changes for Supply Dealers:
This release includes several other improvements to the usability and flow of Private Supply Network communications, Auto Short-Buy, Customer Price Plans and more:
- 57446 - Added the ability to set the default "order code" to orders created through text based order entry programs including web GOA and EDI.
- 57014 - Corrected the (LG5) Reindex I-SUPER function to work like the newer O/PUS SIMPLE quarter-end function, so that when you look up items in the F3 Item Detail tab of Commercial Order Entry after reindexing Super Index, it no longer returns the old item from the wholesaler record.
- 57295 - Corrected issues when limiting a short-buy by route code. This issue occurred with routes beginning with a space (for sorting purposes). When limiting a short-buy by route, the system was not properly finding the orders.
- 57379 - Corrected so the Exclude ATRS From ASB setting in the Vendor Private Communications Network dialog box is shown without the user having to first enter data in the text-based (CX) parameters screen.
- 57567 - Supply dealers who buy Direct from HON via PSN have new fields available to set up in the Vendor Private Communications Network (PCN) settings window: a Contract Number Override and a DSR Default Email. In the Contract Information settings program group, you can check Override for the specified Contract Number provided by HON. This allows you to enter a contract number from the (L6N) Auto-Short Buy secondary screen during purchasing in lieu of the PCN contract number, in effect setting the contract number by ASB call as needed. In the new Dealer Information settings program group, you can specify the email address of the sales representative assigned to HON Direct PSN orders, which HON has requested for order correspondence. The Always Send Default DSR Email field can be set to Y to use the default email address you specify, or to N to attempt to get the email from the sales order, or choose the salesperson's email from Salesperson Contacts when transmitting the order to HON via PSN. For details on setting this up once you install DDMS Version 10, see Setting Up & Using HON Direct via PSN for Supply Dealers (pdf). See also our new Setting Up HON Direct for Office Supply Dealers Video Tutorial.
For Furniture Dealers
1. Three New SQL Reports Specialized for Furniture Dealers! (#57235)
Use the Vendor Alias Report to look up discounts, load factors, and more! The Vendor Alias Report groups information by vendor account number. It lets you limit by vendor alias, description, manufacturer discounts 1-5 as well as department code. It displays vendor account number, followed by the vendor alias, description, load factor percentage, load factor setting, and manufacturer discounts 1-5. (Bonus: This report comes already installed in SQL Report Preview among your standard Sales reports in DDMS Version 10.)

Easily analyze month-end uncataloged inventory with the Uncataloged Not Posted Month end Report and the Uncataloged Posted Month end Report. They can be added to SQL Preview Reports from ECI's XML folder for Project.

For detailed instructions on setting up a report and grant access to your employees, see page 13 of Setting Up & Using SQL Preview Reports (pdf).
2. Order Entry Notes Which Vendor for Building a Purchase Order
Version 10 has better integration for furniture dealers, since you create purchase orders from Order Entry. Now the Notes Everywhere title bar will display the Vendor in Order Entry! (57539)

For detailed instructions, see your online help in DDMS 10.0.
3. Customize SQL Reports with Item Bin, P/O Status, and Load Factor!
If you create custom SQL reports, now you can display item bin and item inventory bin from the Item record. Look up the status code in View Purchase Order Detail, P/O Journal Detail, and All P/O Detail. You can also limit on Load Factor Percent and Exclude Load Factor Flag. (57427)
The new SQL tables include: ItemInventoryBin and ItemBin. We also added the existing PurchaseOrderDetail.StatusCode field to ViewPurchaseOrderDetail, ViewPurchaseOrderJournalDetail and ViewAllPurchaseOrderDetail. We also enhanced the standard limit screen to allow you to set limits to the fields for LoadFactorPercent and ExcludeLoadFactorFlag.

4. Improved Direct Shipping with Kimball Office and National
When you designate a purchase order as Direct Ship, Kimball Office and National no longer require the ShipTo Customer Number (ST Cust ID) specifically for Direct Ship. They now require you to specify the ShipTo Address in the PSN Communicate window. (57173)
For detailed instructions, see Setting Up and Using the Kimball PSN for DDMS (pdf) and Setting Up and Using the National PSN for DDMS (pdf)
Other Changes for Furniture Dealers:
This release includes additional improvements to the usability and flow of Furniture Delivery/Install, Project Management, and P/O communications with your manufacturers:
- 57451 - Corrected so when re-printing a selected report in the EBS Furniture Project Management window, the system does not repeat the header information each time the report is run.
- 57615 - Corrected so when choosing to set an Order ID limit in the Furniture Project Management window, the system does not display an error message. This message appeared after selecting Order ID and clicking the Query icon to search for an order number.
- 57651 - Corrected so when adding a Load Factor item to a Furniture Order and viewing the order in the O/E History window, the Load Factor item is not moved higher in the item list. Previously it was moving 10 lines up on the item list.
- 57654 - Corrected so the system does not display an error message when attempting to run a Furniture Project Management report template.
- 57680 - Corrected so when using templates in Furniture Project Management and going to the Item Level, the system does not display an error message.
- 57948: Corrected an issue with loading templates into EBS SQL Furniture Project Management that caused a Csla.DataPortalException in version 10.0.0. In DDMS 8.26, the limit SalesOrder.PayCode was defined as an alphanumeric data type, but in v10 was changed to a SelectList (a fixed dictionary), which only allowed two operators, equal to or not equal to. IN 10.0.5, we adjusted the code so that the operator allows < or > for existing templates to be loaded.
- 57889: Corrected the template logic in Furniture Project Management and Order Entry history to get only the required template info for display in the template list grid. The entire template is only retrieved when needed for execution, editing, etc. This will reduce the memory requirements for users who have a large number of templates, and eliminates an issue in 10.0.0 that caused a System Out of Memory Exception when saving a few templates in Project Management.
For Machine and Equipment Dealers
1. New Graphical SQL/EBS Look & Feel for Machine Billing!
Machine dealers can soon leave behind the (EZV), (EZU), and (EZYB) text-based screens. Enjoy our graphical interface for meter readings and meter billings! (57355)
This software release includes the Machine Billing feature, which currently includes Meter Readings. (Additional Machine Billing functions — such as contract renewals, contract billings, lease billings, and update renewal dates — will be released in later software versions.)
To access meter readings, double-click Machines, then double-click the Machine Billing icon.
When the Meter Readings window opens, you can enter meter readings before billing your meters. This window lets you set numerous limits for billing meters, making billing your meters more convenient and flexible than ever! For example, in addition to limiting by location, you can limit by system and subsystem number; serial number; item number and description; customer account number and department; equipment and contract type; billing frequency; contract beginning and ending dates; current reading dates, and so forth.
The more limits you set, the more you can narrow to just those meters you are ready to bill.
After the limits are set, the system displays all the meters based on your criteria so you can begin entering current meter readings. (You contact the customer and obtain the meter reading for all the meters to bill. This ensures that the meter reading is accurate before billing.)

For detailed instructions, see your online help in DDMS 10.0.
2. Set Default Call Priority By Machine!
Previously you could only set call priority by Customer. But what if your customer has multiple machines? Setting one overall priority is not practical. Use the new Call Priority field when selling or updating a contract in Machine Order Entry and the Machine Detail window's Other tab. (56642)

For existing machines, you can manually assign a default call priority in this box. After you do, when creating a call in the Work Orders window, the system checks to see if the machine is assigned a default call priority. If set, the system uses the default priority as specified, but you can always change it. You can also set the call priority for a machine when selling a contract using the new Call Priority box in the Serialized Contract dialog box. Call Priority information is stored in the Z-SUPP file and can also be used in Report Writer.
For detailed instructions, see your online help in DDMS 10.0.
Other Changes for Machine & Equipment Dealers:
This release includes additional improvements to the usability and flow of Machine sales, service, and more:
- 56602 - Corrected Machine Order Entry so that when you credit a contract setup invoice, it will prompt you to open Contract Detail. Previously, this prompt did not appear. Now, you are reminded to delete/adjust the contract record. Also, when crediting a cycle billing, you are now prompted to edit the contract/meter information.
- 56859 - Corrected Machine Work Orders so that when you initially enter a call you can complete it. Previously, it did not allow you to enter the times, miles, and meter information immediately. Now, the system pulls the customer key so CALL-INs can be completed when they are entered.
- 56976 - Corrected the navigation of the graphical Word Order screen, so that if you use the tabs to navigate from the Global F2 tab to the Machine Info F3 tab and then on to the Call Detail F4 tab, the system no longer inadvertently takes you to the Machine Info F3 tab. Instead, it takes you to the Call Detail F4 tab you clicked.
- 57152 - Corrected the Look Up a Machine to start a Supply Billing function so that the system checks Customer O/E Status to see if the customer is excluded from Order Entry according to (LA) parameters.
- 57225 - Corrected Machine Work Orders F3 Call Detail tab so that if you have the system automatically populate information in the Call Text field, and then manually enter text on the first line, the system automatically wraps to the second line.
- 57274 - Corrected issues with machines that expire by clicks. Previously if the user retrieved the machine by system number in the Work Orders Global tab and then clicked the Machine Info (F3) tab, the system was not prompting the user. If the user clicked the Call Detail (F4) tab, the user was prompted.
- 57277 - Corrected so the system does not overwrite the contract detail settings for the machine's meters. Previously when renewing by a machine's clicks in the graphical O/E window, the system was using the Contract Types window defaults and overwriting the Contract Detail window's settings in the Meter tab. This resulted in the machine's contract being updated but the meter was not.
- 57326 - Corrected the Machine Detail window to not display the Item Description box in bold text. Boxes shown in bold text indicate that the user can click the box to retrieve a machine by item description.
- 57327 - Corrected so the maximize button in the upper right hand corner of the Machine Detail window is not greyed out so it cannot be selected.
- 57382 - Corrected so the system displays the accounts receivable information for a machine in the Work Orders Machine Info tab. Previously when logging a call for a machine assigned to a customer's department, the A/R information was left blank. The system now displays A/R totals for the master account.
- 57387 - Corrected to allow the salesperson the ability to dispatch a call when setting the Allowable Functions for Machine Monitor in the Salesperson window to Add or Change. Previously if allowing the salesperson the ability to add or change, the salesperson could not dispatch calls. To dispatch calls in the Machine Monitor, a salesperson had to be set to All functions.
- 57465 - Corrected so when changing a meter reading date in the Machine Detail Meters tab, the system was not saving the changes.
- 57526 - Corrected so the system does not display the error message "FixServ File Truncated" when using BEI.
- 57576 - Corrected so when retrieving several machines in the Machine Contract Detail window, the user is not prompted to save changes when none have been made.
- 57649 - Corrected by adding the ability to set limits in the Machine Meter Readings window.
- 57661 - Corrected so the system does not display an error message when deleting a meter reading in the Machine Meter Readings window.
- 57663 - Corrected so the user cannot enter information in boxes that are shown for display only in the Machine Meter Readings window.
- 57669 - Corrected to remove the Billings and Update Renewal options in the Machine Meter Readings window. Both options will be available in later software versions.
- 57671 - Enhanced the Machine Work Orders logic to assist in troubleshooting issues with labor time calculations by adding logging and error messages to ELFview. In the error messages described below, the variable "CallNbr" is the call number being processed; "Err .Description" is the description of the error if it happened on the graphical side. If the system got an error setting the fields before calling the utility step, the log will show "GSerialClient.CSerialAux.GetLaborTime: ", CallNbr & " - Error Calculating Labor Time - Error Before Calling Utility: " & Err. Description. If the system failed trying to call the utility, the log will show "GSerialClient.CSerialAux.GetLaborTime: ", CallNbr & " - Error Calculating Labor Time-Error Calling Utility: " & Err.Description. If the system returned okay from the utility but had a problem setting the field in the function, the log will show "GSerialClient.CSerialAux.GetLaborTime: ", CallNbr & " - Error Calculating Labor Time-Error Setting Labor Time Field: " & Err.Description. In addition, DDMS populates the UB_TEST field with "Y" if all goes well, and new values in UB_TEST will indicate how far the UB utility progressed before an error occurred, if any: "B" means it got into the utility step, "A" means it did read up the correct Z-AUX record, and "S" means it did update the Z-A-SUPP file correctly. The log will indicate the value of UB_TEST passed back from the UB utility as follows: "GSerialClient.CSerialAux.GetLaborTime: ", CallNbr & " - Error Calculating Labor Time UB_TEST=".
- 57674 - Corrected so when changing keys on a Work Order, the system updates the system and/or sub-system numbers in the Z-P-SUP or Z-M-Read files. These files are updated when a call is Completed or is set to the Waiting on Parts status.
- 57675 - Corrected so the system does not display an Internet Host Services error when trying to send meter reading from Print Fleet.
- 57696 - Corrected issues with the system not properly updating the serialized Z-P-SUPP file. Previously when a work order call was placed and set to a Waiting on Parts status or a backordered work order was created for the call, the date and time in the Z-P-SUPP file was left blank. This file was also not being updated correctly when performing a delete, change, verify, or credit function in the graphical Serialized Order Entry window.
- 57697 - Corrected issues associated with the serialized Z-TIMES file. Previously some calls were showing blank date and time information in the Z-TIMES file for the original call in, reopen, on hold, and remove from hold updates.
- 57718 - Corrected by adding a Help button to the new Machine Meter Readings window.
- 57723 - Corrected by adding the Z-INFO file to the EBS Machine import group.
Other Changes for All Dealers:
This release includes dozens of improvements to the usability and flow of commonly used DDMS applications:
- 56598 - Enhanced error logging (viewable using ElfView.exe) so that if graphical software ever tries to update a vendor record with a blank vendor number, then it will be logged on the server Ensite Log File (ELF) and the Vendor database window will display an error. We also added more information logging to the Vendor application to track how this save may be happening. If you are unable to access a vendor record you were able to look up before, open an ECi DDMS support ticket and provide your support team with copies of the server and client ELF logs.
- 57233 - Corrected so when opening the graphical Trial Balance window, the window does not open behind other windows that are already opened.
- 57244 - Corrected to increase the size of the Printer box in the Order Entry Totals tab. Previously the box was not wide enough to display a W. This had been corrected.
- 57214 - Corrected the (ZE7) Program Launcher utility so that at noon, the hour displays 12:00 PM. Previously, it displayed AM, leaving users with the concern that a scheduled program would not launch at the right time.
- 57219 - Corrected the expiration warnings to prevent DDMS being down without warning. If both the software and package authorization are expiring, then the text-based Main Menu will display the software expiration message on the first line (over the dealers name area), while the package message will be displayed, as it is today, on the 2nd line. If only the software is expiring, then it will display on the second line just as it does today. In graphical, the one that will expire first will be shown as there is only room for one message to display.
- 57252 - Corrected ECi Cardlink so that when you have multiple merchant IDs set up per location, the system will properly pass the merchant id from a specified location to the Level 3 transaction detail.

When ECi CardLink sends regular the "BankCard Sale," it uses the merchantID and merchant key from the \DDMS\Bin\UtilExtLink.config data. However sending the level 3 information it previously only checked the +VI; if nothing exists, it sent a null value for both fields. We removed unnecessary processing in EciCard.java in Utilities Extensions so that it no longer sends "null" for the Merchant ID and Key if they aren't in +VI.
